Privacy policy
This page explains how i.KINO handles information when you browse anime and watch episodes. An account is not required to use the public website.
Information in your browser
My List, Continue Watching, recent searches, title-language preferences and player settings use browser storage. Clear that storage in your browser settings to remove those saved items from this device.
If you create a sync code on the My List page, a copy of My List, Continue Watching and watched episodes is stored for 30 days so that another device can import it with the code. Nothing else is attached to it.
Playback and website activity
i.KINO records website activity and playback starts to operate the service and show aggregate statistics such as Plays · 30d. This activity can include a random browser identifier, visited pages, anime titles, search terms and the referring website. A play count can include repeat starts and does not identify a unique viewer.
Episode notifications
If you enable Notify me, we store your browser push subscription with the anime you follow and your time zone to send episode alerts. You can turn alerts off from the website or block notifications in your browser.
Playback, images and other services
Watching an episode sends requests through our playback service and its video delivery sources. Some pages embed YouTube players or load anime artwork from other services. Those services receive the information needed to handle the request, such as your network address and browser information. Analytics or advertising providers, if enabled, may also use their own cookies or storage.
