Agent Aika

After a catastrophic earthquake submerges Tokyo and much of the planet, Aika works among watery ruins, recovering what remains of the lost world. Her next assignment is far more dangerous: find and secure the mysterious Lagu. The mission draws other seekers as well, turning a salvage job into a tense race for an unknown prize.

This 1997 OVA combines a science-fiction setting with action and a 7-episode format. Its appeal comes from the contrast between a flooded Earth, hazardous recovery work, and the uncertainty surrounding Lagu, giving the story a brisk adventure-mystery atmosphere.

• Atmospheric drowned-world setting
• High-stakes salvage mission
• Mysterious Lagu pursuit

Fans of sci-fi action, underwater ruins, and mystery-driven salvage adventures will enjoy this OVA.
