Kippei Katakura has built his high-school life around flirting, with little interest in being responsible. That changes when he comes home and finds Yuzuyu, his five-year-old cousin, now in his care. Her mother, Miyako, has vanished and seems to have left her behind. Kippei knows almost nothing about looking after a child, while Yuzuyu is already carrying the hurt of her mother’s disappearance. Their shared days begin with both of them unprepared for what comes next.
