Angels of Death

Angels of Death

Satsuriku no Tenshi · 殺戮の天使

Rachel comes to in the lower level of a place she does not recognize, with her memories gone. Seeking a way out, she encounters Zack, a serial murderer concealed beneath bandages and armed with a scythe. Rachel asks him to end her life; Zack agrees on one condition: she must help him escape. Their uneasy deal becomes the only bond either can rely on as questions gather around their confinement.

Rather than offering a straightforward escape story, Angels of Death combines thriller suspense, psychological unease, horror, and mystery. The stark bargain between Rachel and Zack keeps the series focused on dependence, uncertainty, and the strange terms of their partnership. Each detail of their situation raises another question: where they are, why they cannot simply leave, and what their desired destiny might be. The contrast between Rachel’s plea and Zack’s condition gives the premise its distinctive tension without resolving the mystery too soon.
