Apocalypse Bringer Mynoghra: World Conquest Starts with the Civilization of Ruin
After dying young from illness, Takuto Ira awakens in a fantasy realm modeled after Eternal Nations, the turn-based strategy game he loved. His new existence is anything but ordinary: he has become the deity directing Mynoghra, a civilization marked as evil. At his side stands Atou, Mynoghra’s beautiful Sludge Witch hero unit, whose loyalty gives this strange new ruler a powerful partner. Together, they face the challenge of restoring their civilization and pursuing world conquest while even the game’s notoriously harsh racial traits threaten to complicate their plans. The setup places a former player inside the system he knows best, but now every tactical decision carries weight beyond a screen.
Action and adventure drive the larger campaign, while fantasy gives the setting its unusual civilizations and game-like rules. Comedy can emerge from the contrast between Takuto’s position as a commander and the practical demands of rebuilding; drama and romance add emotional stakes to the conquest. What sets the series apart is its deliberately tactical view of an isekai premise: the central figure is not simply a hero entering danger, but the god of an evil faction, leading Mynoghra from the ground up. That perspective makes expansion feel tied to identity, loyalty, and the uneasy idea of winning through ruin.
The finished 2025 TV series has 13 episodes. Start with its first episode, where Takuto’s new role, Atou’s presence, and Mynoghra’s ruinous civilization establish the story’s tactical fantasy premise.
