Apocalypse Hotel
In Ginza, Tokyo, the Galaxy Tower hotel remains open long after people have disappeared from Earth. Yachiyo, a devoted hotelier robot, stands at the heart of its staff, joined by robots assigned to different departments. With no guests to welcome, they continue caring for the building through an unending stretch of time. Their work is sustained by two hopes: their owner may return, and humanity may one day come back. Then a small miracle arrives, poised to change life for Yachiyo and her colleagues.
The series blends science fiction with comedy and slice-of-life calm, finding character in the contrast between a functioning hotel and an absent human world. Its appeal comes from the robots’ patient routines, their shared responsibility, and the gentle tension of waiting for a future they cannot take for granted.
