April Showers Bring May Flowers

Hana Tabata feels isolated at school and often slips into gloomy thinking. One morning, while imagining herself as the heroine of a manga in her classroom, she is unexpectedly seen by Yosuke, the attractive boy in her class. That awkward discovery sets up a romance readers can root for, centered on a girl whose private fantasy suddenly collides with school life.

This 2025 TV series blends comedy and romance through Hana’s self-deprecating perspective and the embarrassment of being noticed at exactly the wrong moment. Its 13 episodes keep the focus on the unusual charm of a masochistic, unpopular-girl comedy, with a warm romantic thread running through it. The series is finished.
