Bakemonogatari

Bakemonogatari

化物語

Koyomi Araragi is a third-year high school student trying to return to ordinary school life after a vampire attack. Meme Oshino helped him become human again, yet superhuman healing and enhanced vision remain. When Hitagi Senjougahara falls down the stairs and Araragi discovers that she has no weight, he refuses to ignore her condition. Despite Senjougahara’s protests, he turns to Oshino once more for help.

Romance gives this TV series a human center, while demons and gods turn everyday student life into a chain of unsettling mysteries. Araragi’s efforts to help people with supernatural maladies connect the strange to the personal: friendship, concern, and the wish to live normally all matter. The story unfolds through several linked tales about unusual conditions and the people caught up in them.
