Desert Punk

In a future Japan reduced to a vast wasteland, people struggle to survive across the Great Kantou Desert. Among these scattered survivors is a short man known as Sunabouzu, a bounty hunter whose reputation makes him seem almost impossible to defeat. His one notable vulnerability appears when the opposite sex is involved.

With action and comedy at its core, the series balances the harshness of the wasteland with its hero’s weakness for the opposite sex. Known in Japanese as Sunabouzu, Desert Punk is a finished 24-episode TV series from 2004.
