GUNDAM BUILD METAVERSE
Rio Hojo steps into a newly launched online world where users appear through avatars, meet one another, battle with Gunpla, and can buy physical kits. Away from the screen, he studies model-building methods with Seria Urutuski; inside the Metaverse, Mask Lady teaches him the practical know-how of Gunpla Battle. Rio gradually combines both kinds of training while refining his own creation, the Lah Gundam. Once that personal build is complete, an unexpected meeting brings him face to face with former Gunpla Battle champions in the virtual realm.
As a Mecha, Action, and Sci-Fi web series, it connects hands-on model building with a digital setting. Its central appeal comes from the contrast between patient work in the real world and battles in the Metaverse, while Rio’s progress gives the adventure a clear personal focus. Created to commemorate the Gundam Build franchise’s 10th anniversary, the story celebrates both making a Gunpla and learning how to use it.
This finished 2023 ONA consists of 3 episodes. Begin with episode 1 to follow Rio’s training from its first steps, then see how his completed Lah Gundam leads him toward encounters with Gunpla Battle champions.
