Hori-san to Miyamura-kun

Hori-san to Miyamura-kun

堀さんと宮村くん

At school, Kyouko Hori looks like a flashy, confident student, yet her strong academics and devotion to her family reveal a more grounded side. Izumi Miyamura appears unremarkable in class and seems determined not to attract attention. Away from school, however, he has piercings and a large tattoo. Their paths truly cross when Miyamura helps Hori’s injured younger brother and brings him home. Hori then discovers the private identity behind Miyamura’s plain classroom image, giving their relationship an unexpectedly personal beginning.

That contrast between public appearance and private self gives the story its central pull. Hori’s polished image and Miyamura’s quiet school persona both conceal details that change how they see one another. The mood is youthful and bittersweet, balancing the awkwardness of being noticed with the warmth of an honest connection. Rather than presenting its students at a single glance, the OVA builds its appeal around discovery: learning who someone is beyond the version their classmates know. The result is an intimate school relationship story shaped by secrets, family feeling, and the first shift from curiosity toward closeness.
