Initial D Extra Stage 2

Iketani has spent six months regretting a missed chance to reconnect with Mako-chan and his failure to ever offer an apology. When fate brings them face to face once again, the atmosphere is heavy with awkwardness. Although pressed for time during their brief initial crossing, a mutual desire to properly speak leads them to schedule a second meeting.

True to the sports and slice of life genres, the 2008 OVA focuses on grounded interpersonal dynamics rather than high-speed racing spectacles. Kindness and hesitation drive the narrative forward when Iketani arrives early at the designated meeting spot only to be sidetracked by a stranded tourist bus passenger.
