LUPIN THE 3rd vs. CAT’S EYE

At a museum, the Cat’s Eye sisters—Hitomi, Rui, and Ai—make a daring grab while Lupin the 3rd targets a different artwork. The two pieces belong to Michael Heinz’s “Girl and the Flowers” series, and for the sisters, each canvas is tied to the mystery of their father’s disappearance. Discovering that Lupin is pursuing the same objective turns a personal search into a charged contest between expert thieves.

Action, adventure, mystery, and comedy meet in a crossover built around rivalry, deduction, and the emotional pull of family. Its appeal comes from the contrast between the sisters’ shared purpose and Lupin’s competing pursuit, while the artwork clues keep the central question close at hand. As a web series, it offers a focused meeting of two distinct thief identities rather than an extended storyline.

This finished ONA has a single episode, so begin with episode 1 for the complete story. Released in 2023, it commemorates 50 years of the Lupin III anime and 40 years of Cat’s Eye.
