Maebashi Witches
In Maebashi City, Gunma Prefecture, first-year student Yuina Akagi feels stuck in an ordinary, unfulfilling routine. That changes when Keroppe, a mysterious frog, chooses her and four other high school girls for a new role as the Maebashi Witches. A closet in their room opens onto a strange space, leading them to a magical flower shop. There, the five girls sing, dance, and work to grant other people's wishes.
The series pairs fantasy with slice-of-life storytelling, using a familiar school setting as the starting point for a coming-of-age journey. Its appeal lies in the contrast between Yuina's everyday dissatisfaction and the wonder beyond the closet: ordinary girls are given a magical place, a shared purpose, and wishes to answer. Singing and dancing make their unusual task feel active and expressive, while the flower shop gives the story a distinctive setting.
Maebashi Witches is a finished 2025 TV series with 12 episodes. Begin with episode 1 to meet Yuina, Keroppe, and the other girls as the flower shop's unusual work begins.
