Mobile Fighter G Gundam
In the Year FC 60, most people live in space colonies circling Earth, while the colonies’ future is settled through a recurring contest. Every four years, each nation sends a Gundam pilot into a giant-robot tournament to represent its interests. Neo-Japan chooses Domon Kashuu, yet victory is not his main goal. He enters while pursuing his brother, held responsible for their parents’ deaths and the vanishing of the highly dangerous Dark Gundam, also called Devil Gundam.
Built around science fiction, mecha combat, and action, the series places a personal search inside a spectacle of national rivalry. Its central tension comes from the contrast between a public mission—winning for Neo-Japan—and Domon’s private need to uncover what happened to his family and the weapon tied to his brother. That combination gives the tournament a focused emotional stake alongside its giant-robot premise.
Mobile Fighter G Gundam is a finished 1994 TV series with 49 episodes. Start with the first episode to meet the tournament’s setup and Domon’s search from the beginning.
