Mobile Suit Gundam: The 08th MS Team

In UC 0079, the Earth Federation expands its campaign on Earth after Operation Odessa succeeds, sending more soldiers to reclaim territory from Zeon. Ensign Shiro Amada takes command of the 08th MS Team, a unit equipped with Ground Type Gundams. Their assignment combines search and combat: draw Zeonic forces into the open and locate an unfamiliar weapon. The mission becomes far more personal when Shiro falls for Aina Sahalin, a Zeon pilot. His duty, the team’s objective, and his feelings now pull him in opposing directions.

Set against a science-fiction war, this OVA brings mecha action together with a human conflict shaped by divided allegiance. Its central tension comes from the collision between military responsibility and love across enemy lines, while the Ground Type Gundams give the battles a clear, earthbound identity.
