Rail Wars!
In an alternate version of Japan, the national government still runs the country's railways, allowing the network to prosper. Naoto Takayama wants a position with Japan National Railways, drawn by the secure life he expects it to provide. He joins the organization's training program, where railway knowledge matters alongside readiness for whatever trouble the job may bring. His future—and the route toward it—depends on getting through this demanding trainee period.
Training places Naoto alongside three very different students. Aoi Sakura brings impressive athletic ability, Sho Iwaizumi is almost constantly hungry, and Haruka Komi knows an extraordinary amount about trains. Together, they try to make it through their time as trainees while dealing with purse snatchers and bomb threats. Their work also brings them into contact with RJ, an extremist group seeking to place the railway system in private hands.
The series blends detailed railway training with sudden danger and a strong team dynamic. Its alternate-universe setting gives Japan's rail network a distinct political context, while the trainees' challenges connect professional ambition with cooperation under pressure. At the center is a conflict over whether the railway should remain under government control or be privatized, giving the everyday goal of career training a broader stake.
