Lime, Cherry, and Bloodberry are marionettes—androids with a feminine appearance—who reunite with Otaru. Tiger, Luchs, and Panther, marionettes connected to Faust, are sent to stay with Otaru and his friends as they learn about human life. Then Marine, a seventh marionette with an unexplained power, joins them. All of these androids possess maiden circuits, unusual systems that make emotion possible.
