SHUFFLE!
In a modern-day setting, humans live alongside gods and demons because the boundaries between their worlds have opened. Rin Tsuchimi is an ordinary student at Verbena Academy, content with a quiet routine beside his childhood friend Kaede. That calm arrangement shifts when the King of Gods, the King of Demons, and their families become his neighbors. Their daughters, Sia and Nerine, already love Rin because they met him in the past, while upperclassman Asa and the quiet, cute Primula add to his increasingly complicated social life.
Fantasy and romance meet in a setup built around clashing worlds, familiar friendship, and the uncertainty of receiving affection from several very different girls. The mood can move from playful companionship with Asa to the more unusual tension created by divine and demonic families living beside a human teenager. Its central appeal is the contrast between an everyday academy setting and a supernatural relationship problem. SHUFFLE! is based on an eroge by Navel, giving the series a romance-focused foundation within its fantasy premise.
SHUFFLE! is a finished TV series from 2005 with 24 episodes. Begin with the first episode to meet Rin, Kaede, Sia, Nerine, Asa, and Primula and see how his peaceful school days are reshaped by his extraordinary neighbors.
