Violet Evergarden the Movie

Violet Evergarden continues her duties as an auto memory doll while holding onto memories of Gilbert, the mentor who introduced her to the meaning of love. Although Gilbert's older brother Dietfried urges her to let go of the past, she finds herself unable to move forward. Things take an unexpected turn when a request arrives from a young patron just as an undelivered letter without a recipient address surfaces in the post office storage.

Rooted in drama and fantasy slice-of-life elements, this film centers on quiet emotional journeys, connection, and the weight of heartfelt correspondence. It explores how personal grief and devoted longing shape human lives, delivering an intimate and reflective narrative experience.

Premiering in 2020 as a standalone movie, this single-installment project serves as an original continuation of the 2018 television broadcast.
