Episode 1: Stairway to Heaven

Taking place after episode four and before episode five, the story has Yuri direct the SSS in “Operation High Tension Syndrome,” ordering everyone to act excessively cheerful. She believes Angel may guide them to God, while failure means the SSS must go without food for a week; a tension meter scores their staged excitement and outbursts. The group later reunites for a sports festival that also includes the NPCs, as Yuri supervises until Angel arrives following Shiina’s interruption. Angel then goes to report, leading the SSS to an underground greenhouse and a garden she tends, not God’s supposed home, so Yuri enforces the fast and leaves the SSS starving.
