Episode 1: Rozen Maiden

The story opens at a tea party attended by a little girl and her father, where a doll moves at night and is shut inside a suitcase. In Japan, Nori hurries home to prepare meals for her reclusive brother Jun, who orders strange items and returns them at the last moment. After choosing “wind it” for a mail-order purchase, Jun discovers an exquisite doll named Shinku, who comes to life and identifies herself as a Rozen Maiden before a clown doll arrives to attack him.
