Episode 6: The Tournament Begins

At the tournament site, Saki becomes separated from the others while reporters surround Nodoka because of her previous junior high championship. Once reunited, the team receives its playing order from Hisa: Yūki goes first, followed by Mako, Hisa, Nodoka, and Saki. Opponents underestimate Yūki, but she takes many hands and nearly leaves them without points. Mako and Hisa then build an imposing lead with swift victories, and Nodoka’s match draws an even larger audience when her turn arrives.
