While Bacillus hunts for Birdy, arguments erupt between her, Tsutomu, and Tute regarding their hidden separate lives. Tute sustains injuries from Bacillus and hands Birdy an Elemental Destructor capsule bomb to destroy the threat and protect civilians. Ultimately, Tute perishes from the attack as his wounds remain unhealed, leaving Birdy to mourn.
