About this episode

Episode 1

At an all-boys school, Ema finds Hayashi’s strange habits hard to understand, especially after Hayashi begins repeatedly asking whether he looks cute. The story looks back to a school sports event, where Ema chooses Hayashi for a scavenger-hunt prompt, then follows their awkward encounters with classmates as Hayashi’s odd interests and questions continue to puzzle Ema.
