At school, Tabata struggles with a new hairpin and panics when it disappears, while Ueno treats her kindly. After her mother sends her to deliver pickles to Yosuke, Tabata stops at a flower shop to prepare a gift for Ueno and reaches his home, where she meets his family, including Keisuke.
