Episode 23: From Here to Eternity

Aerial cities continue multiplying, and Kunugi evacuates everyone from the island while staying behind to try to stop D1. TERRA leaves with the others. D1 is Kuki’s Dolem, and Kuki is the former superior who ordered Kunugi to kill his daughter. After D1 reaches Narai Kanai and begins destroying cities, Kunugi’s missiles and remote-controlled fighter jets accomplish nothing. When D1 attacks his building and Kuki taunts him, Kunugi activates the barrier-creating device; it destroys the cities, Kunugi, Kuki, and D1. Ayato chooses to join with Ixtli to protect Haruka.
