Episode 20: The Execution

Now the new Amanushi, Ukyo starts putting his strategy into action by placing samurai in villages across the empire and directing them to follow the example of Kanna Village’s Seven. He also tells the Nobuseri to keep raiding, while privately telling Tessai that he intends to eliminate them. As Ukyo’s plans unfold, Kambei waits for his execution, with a possible plan of his own, while Katsushiro and the others travel toward the capital and race to arrive in time.
