Episode 3: The Entertainer

With Kirara safe after Ukyo’s attempt to take her, Kambei agrees to assist the group, becoming their first recruited samurai. On their return to base, Katsushiro and Kikuchiyo encounter Gorobei, whose street performance involves challenging Katsushiro to an archery game with a deadly stake: a loss would cost Gorobei his life. As they face this wager, Ayamaro dispatches assassins against the samurai.
