Episode 8: The Guardians

The group takes shelter and rests at the home of Honoka, whom they meet through her work for the guardians. When the Nobuseri arrive to trade with the guardians, the samurai choose not to intervene, but Rikichi refuses to stand aside—and Kikuchiyo does not either.
