He takes his relative’s young daughter, Fumika, to a movie in a neighboring city, where police detain him on suspicion of abducting her. After his release, their car breaks down on the way home; when Takehiko leaves for help and Fumika follows, a truck approaches, and he pushes her away before dying in the accident.
