Episode 9: Reunion

After visiting Fumika Kirameki in the hospital with Kaname and Natsuka, Fumika is invited by Chiaki to take a trip to a southern island. She accepts, surprising Kanaka, but has no idea how to approach a vacation. At their inn, they meet a girl heading to a nearby island to see her grandfather’s grave; he is the man Chiaki loved before dying in a car accident fifty years earlier. At his grave, Chiaki finds a stone-carved shigofumi from him proposing marriage, and accepts.
