Episode 3: Investigation

Kuroyukihime tells Chiyuri that she and Haru are dating before taking him to a cafe, where she explains Brain Burst's hidden history and her goal of meeting its creator. Because only children born with Neurolinkers can use the program, its existence remains concealed; Kuroyukihime must reach level 10 by defeating five level 9 opponents, while one loss permanently removes Brain Burst. She also reveals that she once betrayed the other Kings of Pure Color by beheading the Red King, forcing her to seal away Black Lotus, and now fears that Cyan Pile may expose her identity. Suspecting Chiyuri, she sends Haru to investigate, but he instead reconciles with Chiyuri at her home after they link through a very short cable.
