Episode 5: Aviation

Haru discovers Takumu's cruelty while trying to evade Cyan Pile, but loses an arm, then a foot, and nearly all of Silver Crow's health during the fight. In a basement, he encounters Kuroyukihime's sleeping avatar and realizes that strength is not defined solely by victory; this insight brings him wings, making him the first flying Brain Burst avatar. He returns to the battle, defeats Takumu's attack, and chooses alliance over stripping him of his points and Burst Linker status. Kuroyukihime then reveals herself as Black Lotus to the spectators, shocking them by appearing alive, and later asks Haru to use her first name at the hospital.
