Episode 5: Chi Finds

An approaching mock test pushes Hideki into serious study, but he cannot get far without a Japanese-English dictionary. At the bookstore, however, he gets distracted and decides to teach Chii to read with a picture book that catches her attention. Shinbo visits and helps him return to his work, leaving Chii to continue alone. Later, Hideki finds her glowing and floating; Shinbo's check detects no problem, while Chii's presence gives Hideki encouragement to keep studying.
